Mō te tūraka mahi | About the role 

This role in based from our Central Campus in Cromwell as will assist in the Agriculture programmes. The Agriculture Technician will mahi (work) alongside the Lecturer to provide support when teaching ākonga (learners) in a safe learning environment, predominately in a practical setting on Tinwald Farm.

The role can be adjusted and adapted to suit the right candidate while meeting the needs of ākonga and our team opportunities. 

Ko wai koe | About you

To be successful in this role you will have:  

· recent suitable industry experience 

· good knowledge and expertise in agriculture especially stock handling and management 

· experience working with farm machinery 

· be an active health and safety practitioner 

· experience in working with others and providing guidance
