Mō te tūraka mahi | About the role 

In this pivotal role, you will lead the Digital Team in cutting edge, best practice to exceed stakeholder expectations and contribute to the achievement of Otago Polytechnic's strategic and operational goals. 

You will continue to develop and manage the Digital strategic plan, leading the ongoing enhancement and drive of growth and development of our digital capability for OP’s ākonga (learners) and kaimahi (staff) prioritising service excellence.

Collaboration and relationship fostering are key and you will collaborate widely with stakeholders, suppliers, industry partners and other education providers.

Key to success in this role will be your: 

· Extensive strategic digital experience, 

· Commercial acumen, 

· Operational experience in leading a digital function in a complex organisation 

· Commitment to quality and continuous improvement and a track record of success in delivering key outcomes of digital functions.

· A collaborative, approachable style and the ability to build meaningful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in addition to extensive experience in similar roles. Whilst experience and an understanding of the tertiary education sector would be advantageous, experience a large organisation with multiple digital systems would also be an advantage.
